Hrmm, I think I'll let Upulie lead on tonights episode of Catalyst.

"It misrepresents scientific risk assessment; cherry picks data and is carefully constructed incitement"

For those of you who didn't watch or havent yet caught it on iView, tonights episode of Catalsyt was called "Wi-fried" and billed as exploring the potential health effects of the surge in wifi enabled devices.

Okay, got a couple of things to rant about.

Oh noes! It's Science! Run for your lives!

For those of you living under a rock, you may have missed the NSW Governments Leader in the Upper House sallhying forth on the nature of scientists. This little gem is an excellent example of the sort of leadership we're going to expect over the next 8 years.

I was sitting here at my desk, engaged in a deep and interesting discussion about the nature of religion on #lugradio when I had an epiphany. Science and religion at their core are really not that much different. Both are about the search for "The Truth". Both are based on observing your surroundings and then postulating a theory as to why things are.
