Tonights episode was the very model of organisation and preparation.

Yeah sorry no.

Anyway, this week James and Bernie talk cheese eating surrender monkeys, how the hell does Alan Joyce still have a job and Atheist Churches.

Note: it appears we had a bit of an internet issue which caused James's audio to go all wrong, sorry.

Episode 28 - Octomum devotion

It's National Science Week, so we thought we'd bring out another episode, because there is no such thing as too much science.

This episode we talk Ebola. What's happening, why is the media so bad with stuff like this and we ponder why Homeopaths without Borders isn't mucking in.

We also have a look at two stories that look at different aspects of diabetes, true motherly devotion from a cephelopod, sleeping in space and crayfish who can regrow brain cells from their blood.

Episode 25 - The Return

Well we're back in what can only be described as a rambling attempt to look at the news of the last couple of weeks.

Things we talk about:

  • Knights and Dames
  • Clive "Mahatma" Palmer
  • Bored Cricket Players
  • Why its not a good idea to pretend to rob someone
  • Buffalo in Newtown

Also here's the story I mentioned in the video that features the awesome photo of the WA Senate candidate who lives in the Blue Mountains.

Episode 29 - Would you take a fecal pill?

Sadly our original recording with Dr Katie Mack ended up as so much static due to a computer glitch, however Mags, Mel and James are back with another episode with topics ranging from the realities of a career in science, through fecal pills, nobel prizes and Killer whales that can talk to the Dolphins.

Episode 16 - Such cheese

It never rains but pours. The last week has been a veritable flood of wtf moments, so much so that we couldn't get through our run down.

Some of the topics we covered included Queenslands succesful campaign against chailk on footpaths and funeral procession escorts, Gemma Jones and of course, 150kgs of illegal cheese.

Episode 17 - Feelings

After a week off for something called Real Life, James and Bernie return to pick over some of the brighter wtf moments of the past couple of weeks.

Some of the highlights include:

- A petition to save democracy by kicking out a democratically elected government
- NBN Feelings
- Music Festival feelings
- Justin Bieber*

(*Not an actual highlight)

Episode 18 - Dramatic Clive

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Wed, 05/06/2015 - 15:41
This episode is a bit special as Bernie brings us his dramatic reading of a slightly dodgy transcript of Clive Palmers maiden speach to Parliament.

We also talk about the convoy of Clive, a council that wants to ban Councillors being huffy and in a move that surprises no on Scott Morrison acts like complete numpty. (Warning, contains swears)

Episode 19 - Summer of derp

We're back after a summer of frolicking and relaxing in the sun and surf. This week we have a look at the competition between the eastern states for the stupidest piece of legislation, briefly contemplate an OA for our work with Australian Cricket and ponder, will Schapelle ever be free?
